The Night The Mouse Spoke To Me
Do you know about the mouse
That lives inside my bedroom walls?
That wakes me up with a whisper,
Reminding me to answer his calls?
I don't know if you have someone
Who isn't really someone,
But who keeps you company
When there is no one.
Do you know about the time
When I found out who you were?
That mouse whispered all your secrets
Into my ear, a sweet and dirty song
There's a room where the sun sleeps
And another where the moon thinks,
Illuminating the minds of sleepers,
Making sure every dream drinks.

Daunting Fragments
I look forward to dreaming,
Escaping from you and what I could be,
Escaping from you and what I could be,
With the night as my compass,
To a land I can not remember.
To a land I can not remember.
It's the fragments of you
That I wish I never knew.
It's the best moments of the past
That burn, burn, burn, and last.
